"To Mayor McPherson: If you're going to break the law, don't go on live radio and admit it. When you got Bill Becker against you, your days are numbered."

Really?

Do you think anyone will be prosecuted? Should the nobility of the purpose for the violation be a consideration?

I can't believe Bill Becker turned the Mayor in. I don't think the offense is that bad. Give me a break.

Do the ends justify the means? You are certainly an apologist for your own agendas.

Morgam was not being noble. Morgan only pretends to work as a realtor. Really his only income is from deals that Ed Swift throws him. Developers keep trying to fool everyone into allowing overdevelopment by pretending it's affordable housing. Morgan was trying to arrange a back room deal where the hotels would have a tax hike to pay for "affordable" housing that Swift would then build. Morgan got caught. The hotels are correctly crying foul. Hotels have already had to purchase buildings to house their own workers. They don't want higher taxes to make themselves less attractive. Morgan was only breaking the rules to get more development business for his buddies. Don't be fooled by the affordable housing scam. (It's similar to the "assisted living" development scam.)
